Ward Fall Festival

James got to go to scout leadership training this weekend. So I took my nieces on a date to the Ward party. No ward puts on a party like ours does. We had Games, bouncers, cotton candy, kettle corn, shaved ice, cake walk, BBQ, Chile and lots of CANDY. I don't think Tatum will be having me watch her girls again

AH Childhood Memories

I just thought of this we were like 5 and 6.
As a kid Tatum and I loved to clean. Our favorite thing was to have the house nice and clean for my mom when she came home from work. I would always clean the kitchen (I liked playing dolls with the cups- the old yellow ones were my favorite) Tatum would vacuum. She had to vacuum in perfect rows. Occasionally we would make my mom a nice big chocolate chip cookie. We had no recipe just the fine ingrediants we could remember mom put in them. We were not allowed to use the oven so we would cook the disgusting cookie in the microwave. While we waited for mom to come home we would hop around the house from one piece of furniture to the next to avoid getting any foot prints on the freshly vacuumed carpet. Finally my mom would get home and we would suprise her with a clean house and a nasty microwaved cookie. We were such good little girls.
Dad where were you?

I loved bread dough as a kid. My mom never really made bread that I can remember so I had to resort to this- I would take a piece of bread, break off the crust, roll the bread in a ball, soak it in water, and then cook it the microwave,.YUM!

Tatum and I also loved pancake mix. We would take a big scoop of bisquick, poor some milk, and then drink it out of a cup like it was Kool-aid. I loved this until we used an egg because thats what mom did. Lets just say there was more egg then mix. I have not had raw pancake mix since- Tatum however....

Any funny food memories???

2nd anniversary

2 years ago today was the best day of my life. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband!

Welcome Autumn Goodbye Summer

Fall is here!!! I have my fall candles lit, and have already started baking fall goodies. I am so excited for cooler weather and Halloween and Thanksgiving. I can hardly wait.
